All About Me T's!

Today the students are working hard to complete their "All About Me" t-shirt posters! Here are two very proud students:

The Second Day of Second Grade!

We had another great day today in Second Grade! The students shared their favorite books with each other and we had a discussion about the various 'reading tastes' that we have in Room 7! Some common favorites were:

• Books with happy endings
• Star Wars books
• Books about dragons
• Sports books
• And so many more!

It was really great to see our community of readers start to grow as the students discussed books that they love! 

Open House

It was very exciting to meet so many of you today at Open House! Thank you for taking the time to stop in. If you were unable to make it, the forms that were handed out will be sent home with your student tomorrow. I look forward to meeting you all. 

I can't wait to see all of your students tomorrow for the big first day!!

Welcome to Second Grade!

I hope everyone is ready for the first day! Please come visit our classroom on August 27 from 8:00 - 9:00 for open house!

The only thing you need to bring for the first day of school is your favorite book. I love to read and I can't wait to see your different reading tastes!
